Reproduction Photography
Copystand provides artists, illustrators, galleries, publishers, archives, public buildings and private collections with high quality reproduction photographs, which can be used for catalogues, illustrated books, websites, exhibitions, libraries and so on.
I know how important it is for artists to have excellent archival photographs of their artworks. I have a wealth of experience working for other artists and galleries including ModernPrints.co.uk who I share my studio with. I am trained in Fine Art and have always used photography in my own art practice.
Digitisation of
Artwork and Documents
I take reproduction archival photographs providing you with
colour-calibrated 50 megapixel digital images. I use a tethered Canon set-up with a range of lenses, Profoto lighting and
Capture One software to ensure every artwork or document is reproduced accurately.
I am an expert art handler and take care to treat every job individually to give you the best reproduction photographs.
I keep a back-up of your photographs in case you accidentally misplace them.
I aim to send your files to you within 24 hours of taking the photographs offering a fast and reliable service.

Giclée Prints
I can organise giclée prints for you on a selection of archival specialist paper. My colour-calibrated set-up ensures that the files
I send to print give you very high quality colour-correct prints.
I work closely with a Fine Art specialist print company and guide you through the print process. I can give advice on editioning if you require it.
Post-Production
and Mock-ups
I am an expert in Adobe Photoshop. Does your artwork needs a crease repaired in post-production or you'd like to try a new
colour way?
Whatever it is, get in touch, I'm up for a challenge!
Do you want to mock-up an exhibition or show your artwork in a range of settings? I can do this for you using software that has a selection of rooms and can mock up the framing too.
Exhibition Design Work
I often work with NHS Lothian Charity, Tonic Arts, to design exhibitions and do unique commissions within Edinburgh's hospitals.
